The TimeMark — Video Timestamp Bookmarks extension is designed with privacy as a core principle. Here is how your data is handled:

Local Storage Only

All bookmarks, timestamps, and folder settings created within this extension are stored locally on your device using the Chrome Storage API. No data is ever transmitted to, or stored on, our servers or any third-party servers.

Permissions & Usage

• storage: Used to save your bookmarks and settings only on your local machine.
• tabs / activeTab: Used to detect the current YouTube video URL and title so you can bookmark it.
• scripting: Used to interact with the YouTube video player (specifically, to get the current playback time and to jump to saved timestamps).

No Tracking

We do not use any tracking, analytics, or cookies. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII).
